Ricky joined My Law Matters as Director in 2020. A dynamic business leader, Ricky has built a team of lawyers comprising experts across the legal spectrum, ensuring that all cases we take on are assigned a highly experienced lawyer with relevant qualifications and expertise in their field.  Ricky is the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) for the firm.

Nick qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and has a wide range of legal experience in court work and non-contentious matters. Specialising in civil disputes and debt recovery as well as private client and litigation, Nick plays a crucial advisory role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, offering guidance on complex legal matters and ensuring the firm maintains the highest standards in its legal services. Nick also sits as a Deputy District Judge.

Khatib is a Director and the Head of Conveyancing at My Law Matters. With around 20 years’ experience is a seasoned solicitor and has a diverse legal background, including expertise in private client, personal injury, immigration, and family law, having previously run his own law firm, brings a strategic and client- focused approach.

Leila is our Risk and Compliance Manager and has an extensive background working with various law firms in dealing with risk management and regulatory compliance. Leila started out her career working for the Law Society investigating issues of poor service and misconduct. Leila has a law degree (LLB), post graduate diploma in law (LPC) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals.

Sarah is our Director and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and has over 20 years of experience as a practising solicitor.  Her expertise includes wills, probate, civil disputes, commercial disputes, family law matters, litigation, family law matters and employment litigation.

Jeff is a director of My Law Matters and has over 30 years of experience as a qualified solicitor. He is also Head of Dispute Resolution. Jeff has written a number of books and articles for MBL, Liverpool Law Society and law firms (in house) on a number of civil litigation related matters.
